Sacred Monsters // Murder For Girls // Lez Paul

October 3 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$10

Sacred Monsters: Hailing from the streets and suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Sacred Monsters bring forth a unique blend of raw emotion and unapologetic energy, crafting what they proudly dub as “sad girl rock.” Their music resonates with all of life’s trials and tribulations, delivered with a fierce femininity that’s as empowering as it is relatable. Drawing inspiration from the grunge-infused sounds of Veruca Salt and The Breeders, while also tipping their hat to the catchy hooks of Weezer, Sacred Monsters carve out their own sonic niche in the indie rock scene. Their songs are a cathartic journey through heartache and introspection, wrapped in layers of gritty guitar riffs and infectious melodies. With each chord and every lyric, Sacred Monsters invite you to embrace the complexity of being a sad (insert gender here) rocker, unafraid to delve into the darkness while always seeking the light.

Murder For Girls: Hailing from the City of Steel, Murder for Girls is a femme-forward trio combining elements of grunge, punk, and indie into an explosive blend of alternative rock aesthetics and riot grrl energy.
Conceived in 2012 by bassist Jonathan Bagamery, he initially struggled with multiple lineup changes until 2013, when Michele – with her hard-hitting, energetic beats and irreverent vocals – stepped in and changed the game. By 2015, local songstress and grunge focused guitarist Steph signed on after seeing the band at a local club and becoming enamored with their melodic sound and style. Since then, the group has unleashed three full length albums and their latest triumph, the Six Stories EP. They have shared the stage with such notable artists as MC5, Bob Mould (Husker Du), Richie Ramone, Shonen Knife, and Bash and Pop. and recorded their 2020 LP, Done in the Dark, with legendary Tommy Stinson  of The Replacements and Guns and Roses. Their new Six Stories EP is available now for streaming and download through most major outlets. Sometimes punky, sometimes riotous, sometimes balladeering. Always rocking.  They’ll break your heart and you’ll love them for it…
