From Poetry Lounge Press, Phoebe Esmon will be reading from their first book of poetry “Evidence of Life”

Phoebe Esmon’s work is heavily informed by process, time, the landscape and sea, and the small moments
that build meaning and memory. She began writing poetry at the age of 9 – penning an ode to a wood bunny
that had continuously eluded her grasp. She began publishing in regional journals in her teens, often
workshopping her writing with her father, a fellow poet. Although she has been writing for her entire life, her
current creative practice takes the form of visual and tactile art, exploring, the ways that our memories shape
our present, and the way our present shapes our memories.
