The Band Legacy was formed to play in the University of Pittsburgh Marching Band talent show, initially a fun outing for a group of musicians that would serve as the catalyst to form an enduring musical group. As years passed and lineups changed, The Band Legacy as we know it today took shape. Starting at house shows and drawing from diverse musical backgrounds to create a punk-influenced hard rock sound, the Pittsburgh based group draws on high-energy performances to deliver blistering riffs, biting vocals, and rhythmic bliss. The quintet is comprised of Will La Torre (Vocals), Michael Manchini (Rhythm Guitar), Aaron Hunt (Lead Guitar), Michael Malinak (Bass), and Neil Maydick (Drums). The group combines their musical backgrounds to pay homage to every corner of rock and expand on it in ways only they can deliver.
