Pgh Poetry Collective co-hosts our weekly Open Mic Night for poets, comedians, musicians, and any other performance artists.
Host Kendall Snee is a 10th grade English teacher and Pittsburgh poet. She is the current Writer-in-Residence for Pittsburgh’s City Books and a board member for Write Pittsburgh. She has made a name for herself among the Carlow University Mad Women, with her work appearing in Voices from the Attic, Dionne’s Story for sexual assault survivors, and Pittsburgh’s Yawp magazine. Pre-pandemic, Snee won Pittsburgh’s Nasty Slam spoken word poetry and now reads with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective / Steel City Slam.
